Burton Co-operative Learning Trust

Our school is a member of the Burton Co-operative Learning Trust. This means that our status is a Foundation School, maintained by Staffordshire County Council.

The other schools that make up the BCLT are Outwoods Primary, John of Rolleston Primary, Richard Wakefield Primary, Horninglow Primary, Eton Park Junior School, Lansdowne Infant School and the Fountains Federation of Special Schools.

We work closely with all the schools in our Trust and we have an extensive programme of shared activities for staff and pupils. All the schools work together to improve outcomes for pupils in this part of East Staffordshire.

In addtion, the schools have support from a range of partners that include Derby University, Burton Albion Community Sports Trust, East Staffs Borough Council and de Ferrers Academy.

All the schools have with the Co-operative ethos and values at the heart of their work and everyone in  our school communites is a member of our Co-operative Trust.

Our school has been awarded the Co-operative Identity Mark in recognition of our good practice.
