Our last day of home learning! Join your teacher and class for Zoom register at 9.30.
Mrs Pearson is going to show you some fun games to play to help you learn your letter sounds and tricky words. You may need to download and print off the Phase 2 and 3 letter sounds and tricky words if you haven't already done so. There is also a Phase 3 Quick Read PowerPoint at the bottom of the page for extra practice.
In Maths, Mrs Rawlings is going to talk to you about 3d Shapes and their properties.
Our writing activity today is all about saying sorry.
When you go out on your walk, have a look at the numbers all around you? Where can you see them? What are they used for? Can you count the amount of steps it takes to cross the road? How else can you investigate numbers while you are out and about.
Listen to 'How To Grow A Dinosaur' - another amazing story read by one of the children in Reception.
Today is our final day of home learning before we return to school on Monday 8th March. What has been the best part of home learning? What have you enjoyed? Have you found some things tricky? What are you looking forward to most when you return? What is going to be different for you? We are very excited to have you back and are really looking forward to it.
We would like to take this opportunity to say how proud we are of you Reception children. You have all been super home learners and you really have tried your very best. We would also like to say a HUGE thank you to all the parents and grandparents who have been there with you on zoom, helped and encouraged with the activities and emailed all those wonderful messages, photos and videos. You have all been super home teachers and we could not have done this without you! Thank you so much.
Have a great weekend everyone and see you all on Monday morning!
