English - Adventure stories and descriptions.
Following our book based curriculum our book for this half-term is ‘How to Catch a Star by Oliver Jeffers’. This story involves lots of pictures and simple dialogue that the children can explore. Please use the read aloud story to explore this wonderful text with your child at home.

Topic - The Hindu Story of Rama and Sita (R.E. Link)
This week we are learning about Divali and stories from other faiths and religions.
Draw and design your very own 'Diva' lamp using a mixture of resources and craft items.
Share the story of Rama and Sita (BBC Teach Video)
Go on a materials hunt in your house and find lots of different materials i.e. plastic, metal, wood, rubber, fabric and take a picture of them and label them.
Draw and label the story characters from Rama and Sita.
For P.E. go on a yoga adventure (Link)
Share your favourite stories with your family and create your very own story book.
