English - Introducing George and the Dragon.
Following our book based curriculum our book for this half-term is ‘George and the Dragon by Chris Wormell’. This story involves lots of pictures and simple dialogue that the children can explore. Please use the read aloud story to explore this wonderful text with your child at home.

Topic - Materials and My Local Area.
This week we are learning about materials (revisit) in science and all my local area.
- Can you make lots of different sounds using your body?
- Can you listen to a piece of music and draw and write how it makes you feel?
- Can you sort different materials by their properties, are they soft, hard, scratchy etc?
- Can you go on a journey with Ted the Teddy Bear around Stretton (virtually) and make a list of places that he goes?
- Can you find and research information about castles?

In PSHE we have been learning about 'caring for others'. You could draw the different people that care for you and write down what they do for you.
