Week beginning: 11.01.21

We hope you enjoyed doing some of the activities that we suggested last week and watching the story videos. This week we are continuing with our 'Winter' topic.

Craft Activity:

Did you enjoy playing in the snow during the holidays? This week why not have a go at making a picture of a snowman by cutting out 2 circles - one for the head and one for the body. You could draw round a cup or a bowl and then cut them out. Don't forget to make sure your thumb is at the top of the scissors! What else does your snowman need? A hat, a scarf, some buttons and a face of course! You could use felt tips, crayons or collage materials. Send us a photo of your snowman please!

If you enjoyed this activity, why not try making a penguin!      Click here.

Physical Activity:

Keep having a go at holding your pencil correctly between your first 2 fingers and thumb near the point. Click here and try to trace the dotted lines as neatly as you can!

When you go outside in the cold weather it's really important to wrap up warm! See if you can put on your shoes/wellies and coat and take them off again all by yourself. Now try and fasten your coat too. Well done for having a go!

This week we are thinking about recognising numbers and counting objects.
