Learning and Growing Together

Week beginning: 28.06.21

This week we are continuing to think about Summer.

"I wonder how a rock pool is made?" "I wonder what we might find in a rock pool?"

Craft Activity:

We'll be making a 3D model of something you might find in a rock pool, for example a starfish, a crab, an anemone, seaweed, a fish, etc using various recycled items, such as boxes, tubes, bottles, yoghurt pots.

Maths:

Number:

We will be counting objects in a rock pool and finding the numeral to match the quantity.

We'll also be finding one more/two more and one less/two less than a given number of objects. We'll then try and work out the total number of objects in two groups.
