Special Education Needs and Disabilities
As our school SEND policy explains; our aim is to raise the aspirations, expectations and progress leading to achievement for all pupils with SEN or a disability. This is the responsibility of every member of our school staff but we have our school inclusion team, consisting of Mrs Heidi Elsmore, Mrs Sue Salt and a team of SEND Teaching Assistants, who specifically support those children with SEND. Mrs Elsmore and Mrs Salt also offer emotional support for children who may be experiencing some difficulties. We also work very closely with families offer support and advice for a variety of reasons.
If you would like further information or to access some support, please contact Mrs Elsmore or Mrs Salt via the school office.
Please see our interactive ‘School Information Report’ for answers to the frequently asked questions around support and accessibility for those with special educational needs or disabilities.
